Someone who can quote projects, organize the home warehouse, take inventory, order materials, pick up and drop off materials, manage projects, answer phones, reply to emails, social media messages, reply to texts. This is a part time seasonal position with the possibility for further employment on permanent lighting projects throughout the year. The Holiday Light Company is hiring canvassers to canvass neighborhoods and hang door hangers in San Diego County. These are specific targeted areas we will be sure to assign you once you're onboard! Pay: $20/Hour + 20% Commission Typical canvassers would work 2 weekdays for 4 hours and 8 hours each weekend day until December 15th. Must be drug free, in decent physical shape and comfortable walking door to door, speaking with potential customers, educating customers on our services. The Holiday Light Company offers Christmas Lights Installation, Permanent Perimeter/Trim Lighting, and Patio/Bistro Lighting. Local San Diego Christmas & Permanent Lighting Company Hiring 4 Installers We are a local, established Christmas and permanent lighting installation company that has been serving San Diego County for 18 years. We are looking for 4 reliable, hardworking installers to join our team for the upcoming Christmas lighting season. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, working with their hands, and wants to make excellent money during the holiday season. 💰 PAY Installer: $27.50/hour to start $30/hour after 90 days Lead Installer Opportunity: $32.50/hour to start $40/hour after 90 days Lead positions are available for the right candidates based on experience, leadership ability, safety, reliability, and performance. Ideally, lead installers will have their own truck, ladders, and basic installation equipment/materials. 📅 TRAINING & START DATE There will be two days of training: October 3rd October 10th Work begins October 17th. The Christmas season will run through approximately February 1st. There will also be approximately a 2-week break over Christmas and New Year's. Permanent lighting work may also be available throughout the year when projects are scheduled. ⏰ SCHEDULE This is NOT a traditional full-time job. During training, we will evaluate candidates on things such as: Safely walking and working on a roof Proper ladder setup and breakdown Safe handling of equipment Ability to understand and follow the installation process Attention to detail Ability to work safely and efficiently with a crew Permanent lighting training will be provided and will continue throughout the season and beyond. 🚚 LEAD INSTALLERS We are especially interested in candidates who have previous installation or construction experience and may be capable of taking on a leadership role. Lead installers will be responsible for helping manage installation crews, maintaining quality and safety standards, communicating with the office, and making sure jobs are completed efficiently.
